Instellars is a fast-growing IT services firm specializing in PEGA, ServiceNow, low-code platforms, and AI-led solutions for BFSI clients globally. We are strengthening our finance function to ensure tight financial discipline, data-driven decision-making, and investment readiness.

We are seeking a Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leader with a strong accounting background and who can provide both forward-looking business insights and ensure accounting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Build and manage

  annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling projections

  across geographies and service lines.
• Partner with Sales & Delivery to align

  revenue forecasts with pipeline reality

  .
• Build

  margin ladder dashboards

  by client, geography, and service line.
• Conduct

  variance analysis

  (Actuals vs Budget) with business insights, not just reporting.
• Support leadership with

  scenario modelling

  (e.g., cost of entering Europe/US vs. expected ROI).

Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee

  monthly closing, accruals, reconciliations, and MIS reporting

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  Indian GAAP / IFRS

  , tax filings, and audit requirements.
• Partner with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Implement

  financial controls, revenue recognition policies, and cost allocations

  .

Business Partnering

• Act as a finance partner to the

  CEO, COO, and Sales Leadership,

  translating numbers into decisions.
• Support pricing strategy for new deals and service lines.
• Provide

  EBITDA and cash-flow impact analysis

  before strategic hires or expansions.

• Experience:

  5–7 years (IT Services / Consulting preferred)

Tools & Process

• Own FP&A reporting tools (Zoho Books / ERP / Excel).
• Improve speed and accuracy of reporting.
• Create

  dashboards for weekly leadership reviews

  (Revenue, Margins, Collections, Cash).

Requirements

• CA / MBA Finance with

  5–8 years of experience

  in FP&A + Accounting.
• Prior experience in

  IT services or consulting

  preferred.
• Strong knowledge of

  accounting principles

  + ability to do

  strategic FP&A

  .
• Expertise in

  budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and variance analysis

  .
• Proficiency in

  Excel/Google Sheets, financial modelling, Tally, Zoho/ERP tools

  .
• Strong communication skills, ability to

  present to leadership and investors

  .
