Job Description

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with data science leads across Asia Pacific to understand their business requirements, translate them into actionable data science projects, and deliver solutions that address business needs.
Communicate complex data science concepts and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and outcomes.

Project & Resource Management

Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery.
Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.

Technical Expertise & Collaboration

Act as a technical expert, guiding the team in building and deploying advanced analytics, predictive models, and machine learning solutions.
Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines, scalable infrastructure, and efficient workflows.

Innovation & Best Practices

Drive the adoption of best practices in data science methodologies, coding standards, and model deployment strategies.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team remains ahead of the curve

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Education:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
12+ years of experience in data science, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role with proven track record of strong people and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record of delivering impactful data science projects in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed environment.

Technical Skills:

Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.
Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
