Role Overview: As a Senior Specialist Data Science at the company, you will lead the development, optimization, and implementation of forecasting tools and processes. Your role will involve designing and implementing forecasting methodologies, leveraging statistical techniques and advanced algorithms, and using machine learning algorithms to enhance forecasting processes and outputs. Collaboration with stakeholders across different functions to drive automation and centralization of forecasts will be essential. Additionally, you will manage the team responsible for delivering monthly forecasts at SKU level for various markets and lead the presentation of analytical findings to diverse audiences effectively. Your responsibilities will also include managing the delivery of forecasting capabilities and tools, ensuring documentation is maintained in line with internal standards, and fostering a growth mindset within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of forecasting tools and processes. - Design, develop, and optimize forecasting capabilities using statistical techniques and advanced algorithms. - Utilize machine learning algorithms, automation, and data visualization to enhance forecasting processes. - Manage the team delivering monthly forecasts at SKU level for multiple markets. - Collaborate with stakeholders to drive automation and centralization of forecasts. - Lead storyboarding and presenting analytical findings to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences. - Ensure timely delivery of forecasting capabilities and tools with allocated resources. - Empower a growth mindset and inspire a culture of continual learning within the team. Qualifications And Skills: - Engineering / Management / Pharma post-graduates with 8+ years of experience in relevant roles. - Demonstrated leadership in driving innovation and automation using advanced statistical and analytics techniques. - Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and various data types. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions to complex business problems. - Proficiency in formulating business questions, developing machine learning algorithms, and using languages like Python, R, SAS, etc. - Experience in leveraging advanced statistical methods, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, and model evaluation. - Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business processes and commercial strategies at global and regional levels.,
