Senior Manager (Commercial)

Purpose of Job: To ensure the collections happens within the credit period time and as per the credit policy assigned. To implement company’s credit policies, procedures, and post sales accounting practices. Supporting the Business for problem solving and getting solutions to the issues faced. Principal Accountabilities: Receivables :- Ø Ensure all the Zone wise receivables are adhered to and collection happens as per the Company Policy Ø To ensure payments doesn’t go under slow recovery / sticky account Ø Visiting Dealers and ensuring the relationship is maintained as well as collection is done. Working Capital & Fund Flow Management:- Ø Ensure the Working Capital is managed well for the Company and escalating is any concern areas needs to be addressed by the Management. Supplier Management :- Ø Selecting and Approving suppliers Ø Developing and optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality standards, monitoring delivery processes, negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and resolving issues with suppliers Confirmation of Balance, CN’s :- Ø Ensure the COB is maintained for all the Zone wise dealers. Ø COB to be completed before relieving of all the Sales & BD personnel. Cross Functional Team coordination:- Ø Coordinate with the Cross Functional Team members with the Plant, BD, Sales, Accounts, Marketing, Human Resources, and Legal etc. for ensuring there are no issues and concerns. Team Building & People Management:- Ø Ensure the Team is well motivated and they are delivering to their optimum. Ø Keeping a constant checks for the Zone wise Commercial Activities and checking for pilferages, errors etc. Qualification & Experience Required: Ø B.Com Ø 12-15 years of Experience Skills Required for the Job: Ø Very good Working Knowledge of the Balance Sheet and its related implications Ø Functional & Technical Skills Ø Negotiation Skills Ø People Management & Team Handling Powered by Webbtree Show more Show less
