Senior Manager - Cloud Operations

As a Senior Manager - Cloud Operations at Eaton in Pune, India, you will lead a highly skilled and geographically diverse cloud operations team responsible for monitoring and managing the multi-cloud ecosystem. Your role involves collaborating with peer leaders to drive improvements, working with senior leadership on strategy and investments for environment maturity, and providing leadership to the broader organization. A key focus will be shepherding Eaton through a digital transformation encompassing both technology and cultural shifts. Your responsibilities include identifying opportunities for operational improvements and leading your team in implementing solutions. You will collaborate with peer groups, drive refinement and automation of key processes to offset resource growth, and oversee incident and requests management in the Multi-Cloud environment. Effective communication at all levels, including senior leaders, is essential. Providing career guidance, feedback to resources, and mentoring junior team members are also part of your role. You will drive the integration of DevOps, Security, and agile methodologies across the platform. Collaboration with IT and Business thought leaders to drive business-focused outcomes is crucial. You will deliver metric-driven outcomes, communicate status and trends to leadership effectively, and provide leadership beyond your direct responsibilities. Continuous evolution of the operations team as the space matures, identification of improvement opportunities with Architects and Engineering, and establishment of efficient processes for operating a multi-cloud ecosystem with agility are key tasks. Interface with key vendors, collaborate with the SRE team to enhance environment reliability, refine SMART metrics, report outcomes to senior leadership, drive security aspects across the platform, and collaborate with CYBER on security processes and response to events are also part of your responsibilities. Driving Zero Trust operational initiatives to successful completion is a critical aspect of the role.
