Senior Manager- Change Management Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Management:

  Lead and manage a team to deliver accurate and timely change management assessments for USA-based construction projects.

• Client Collaboration:

  Work closely with the USA-based clients and GCs to understand project needs, provide updates, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.

• Change Assessment:

  Analyse design changes, quantify their impact and prepare detailed reports and presentations.

• Compliance & Standards:

  Familiarity with USA construction standards, codes (e.g., CSI Divisions), and regulations.

• Software Utilization:

  Leverage construction software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Google Sheets/Excel, PowerPoint/SlideShare) for analysis, documentation, and communication.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

  Communicate effectively with the clients team members.

• Quick Learning:

  Quick to learn and / work with the protocols in place for various building engineering services required by the client

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum of

  8-10 years

  in

  construction project management

  , with a focus on change management, cost estimation, or quantity surveying.
• Proven experience working with

  General Contractors (GC) or developers

  on

  USA-based projects.

• Hands-on site experience, including exposure to change order processes and

  on-site problem-solving.

• Experience in

  inter and intra-discipline coordination

  with architects, engineers, subcontractors, etc.
• Ability to manage

  multiple disciplines

  and

  access the impact of changes

  across disciplines.

• Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of USA construction methods, materials, and industry standards (e.g., CSI Divisions).
• Proficiency in:
• Bluebeam (for PDF markup and overlays).
• AutoCAD and Revit (for review, modeling, and deriving quantities).
• Google Sheets/Excel (for analyzing and sharing changes live).
• PowerPoint/SlideShare (for preparing presentable slide decks).
• Strong analytical skills to read drawings, schedules, and quantities, identify patterns, foresee issues, and compute differences between initial and revised plans.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, details, schedules, specifications and other project related data made available in formats ranging from pdf docs, models, CAD drawings etc.
• Excellent attention to detail to spot discrepancies in measurements, quantities, or material requirements.

• Leadership & Communication:

• Demonstrated experience leading teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as

  PMP (Project Management Professional),

  CCM (Certified Construction Manager),

  or equivalent.
• Experience with specific trades relevant to the clients projects (e.g., architecture, structure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Familiarity with

  BIM (Building Information Modeling)

  and its application in change management.
• Experience with cost estimation software or tools (e.g., RSMeans, CostX). Preferred but not mandatory.
