Senior Manager, Cash and Collections

As a Collections and Cash Application Manager at Curriculum Associates, you will lead, hire, train, and mentor a team of Specialists, ensuring clear performance goals are established and feedback is provided regularly. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies to improve collections efficiency, overseeing cash application processes, monitoring key metrics, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. You will also handle escalations, support audits, and participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the department. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, hire, train, and mentor a team of Collections and Cash Application Specialists - Establish clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching - Develop and implement strategies to improve collections efficiency and reduce DSO - Oversee daily cash application processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness - Monitor key metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership - Drive process improvements and automation initiatives - Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies - Handle escalations and complex customer issues with professionalism and urgency - Support audits and provide documentation as required - Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for the department Qualifications Required: - Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (Workday Financials preferred) - Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures - Experience with process improvement and change management - High attention to detail and organizational skills In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, Curriculum Associates is a company committed to making classrooms better places, serving educators, and supporting accessible learning experiences for all students.
