Job Description

Role & responsibilities New Technology Motors. Responsible for PMSM/BLDC/SRM/SynRM/Axial/New Technology Motors for HVAC/Home Appliances/Automotive Applications. Responsible for NPD Cycle till project execution, leading/involving CFT members. Electromagnetic design & Analysis of motor using Softwares JMAG/SPEED/MotorSolve. Responsible for electrical motor mechanical design and Validation. Comparing different types motors (SPM/IPM/SRM/AXIAL/SynRM) for different applications. Develops methods to improve electric machine performance through improved materials, modelling methods, and design algorithms. Testing & validation of electric machines as per relevant standards. Proto type building & proving concept design with tight timing constraints. Lead APQP and relevant Product development cycle for the Projects. Costing of motor & generating VAVE ideas. Keep track of global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight. Ability to solve novel, difficult design problems. Excellent communication skills, Profound Leadership and Initiative skills Preferred candidate profile Experience in Similar Industry
