Senior Manager / AVP- IT Infrastructure (BFSI / MF Domain)

Role & responsibilities:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, resilient, and scalable IT infrastructure services to support the Mutual Fund business operations and Projects. The role demands strong leadership in Infrastructure Strategy, Data Centre management, Cloud adoption, Cybersecurity, and Regulatory Compliance, ensuring high availability and performance across all technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Core Technical Management & Solutioning

• Lead the end-to-end IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and operations for data centers, networks, servers, storage, cloud, and end-user computing.
• Technical understanding & troubleshooting of VMware/Nutanix Virtualization, Cloud/On-premise Infrastructure, Storage Administration, Server Administration, Data Backups & Replication process, Email/MDM solutioning and DR drills.
• Ensure 24x7 availability of mission critical systems, applications & digital platforms.
• Manage IT operations for HO, Branches, and Disaster Recovery sites.
• Exploring & collaborate with business teams for cloud & digital solutions in line with security and compliance requirements.
• Ensure robust infrastructure security, access management, incident management and compliance with regulatory bodies like SEBI, RBI, etc.
• Implement IT controls for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Managing System and Cyber Audits and getting compliance in line SEBI circular

B.

• Manage relationships with System Integrators, OEMs, Telecom providers, and Cloud service providers.
• Managing and Negotiating Agreements, Contracts, SLAs, and ensure cost optimization.

C.

• Design and oversee BCP/DR drills, Backup strategies, and Business continuity planning.
• Ensure RTO/RPO objectives are met for critical systems in line with regulatory parameters

D. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure professionals.

Build capabilities in monitoring, automation and IT service management

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Graduate, preferred Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field.

• 10–15 years of IT experience

  with at least 5 years in a BFSI/ MF domain.
• Certifications preferred:

  ITIL, PMP, CCNA/CCNP/Cloud Certification, etc.
