Senior Load and Performance Testing Engineer

Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and execute

  end-to-end backend automation

  for new and existing features.
• Define the

  QA strategy

  for the team and set up robust

  release management practices

  .
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and convert them into

  detailed test plans

  .
• Write clean assertions that map to

  business acceptance criteria

  and maintain stable automation suites.
• Drive

  automation coverage

  within the scrum team and implement best practices for scalable and maintainable frameworks.
• Identify flaky tests, strengthen automation stability, and optimize the testing pyramid.
• Work closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed institution.

• 5–8 years

  of professional experience in Software Testing or SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Java

  , JavaScript, or Python for automation scripting.
• Expertise with

  REST API automation frameworks

  such as RestAssured, Karate, etc.
• Proficiency in

  BDD frameworks

  like Cucumber or JBehave.
• Experience with

  performance testing tools

  (JMeter or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with

  Jira, Jenkins, Git

  , and version control workflows.
• Strong understanding of automation strategy, test environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
