What You'll Do

Platform Development

• Design, build, and maintain a

  Debian-based Linux platform

  for ARM-based connected hardware.
• Build

  containerized microservices

  using Docker.

Application & Microservice Development

Python asyncio is a mandatory requirement for this role

• Develop

  production-grade Python 3.12 services

  using:
• asyncio, async/await
• aiohttp / FastAPI async
• concurrency frameworks (uvloop, etc.)
• Build additional services using

  GoLang

  .
• Build on-device UIs using

  Kivy

  (bonus).

System Integration & Networking

• Integrate hardware and microservices using:

• nanomsg / ZeroMQ

• WebSockets

• CAN bus

• RS485

• Build robust low-latency communication layers for edge ? cloud.

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy and manage services on

  AWS

  (required).
• Operate containerized environments using

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

  .
• Configure and maintain

  Debian-based servers

  .

Database & Edge Persistence

• Use

  SQLite

  for on-device storage and synchronization.
• Manage cloud-based storage and data flows.

Performance & Reliability

• Optimize edge + cloud systems for:
• low latency
• high reliability
• resource constraints on ARM devices

Debugging & Diagnostics

• Debug issues across the entire stack:
• Python async logic
• microservice communication
• container orchestration
• hardware-software interaction
• networking & protocols

What You Bring

Mandatory Experience

• 710 years

  in Linux systems engineering / platform development.

• Production-grade Python asyncio microservices experience

  (async/await, concurrency, async frameworks).
• Strong hands-on GoLang (or equivalent system-level languages).
• Deep expertise with

  Debian-based Linux

  on embedded and server environments.

Strong Technical Skills

• Microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes.
• ARM/embedded Linux platforms (Raspberry Pi, Jetson, NXP, Qualcomm, etc.).
• Networking protocols:
• CAN
• RS485
• WebSockets
• nanomsg / ZeroMQ
• AWS cloud ecosystem.
• Experience using

  LLM agents

  to accelerate development workflows.

Bonus Skills

• Kivy or Qt for UI interfaces.
• Zephyr RTOS (STM32 or similar).
• SQLite on constrained edge devices.
