Senior Lighting Designer

As a Senior Lighting Designer at Inhabit's Mumbai Studio, you will be an integral part of our global Lighting Design team, working closely with the Lighting Principal and Regional Director for India. Your primary responsibilities will include business development, design narrative control, and project delivery and management for various projects in India and the surrounding region. To excel in this role, you must be a client-focused and highly experienced lighting designer with exceptional project management skills, creativity, and technical proficiency. Your ability to effectively present ideas to clients and collaborate with other designers will be crucial for success. To be considered for this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in lighting design across projects of different scales and complexities. Strong interpersonal skills, a track record of working with top-tier clients and architects, and a business-oriented mindset are essential. Moreover, you should be detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, hand sketching, and MSOffice is required. An eye for detail, accuracy, and technical aspects of lighting, as well as a passion for lighting, architecture, art, and design are qualities that we value. Additionally, the ability to think creatively, challenge conventions, and a drive for personal and professional growth are important attributes for this role. Experience with Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, an existing client base, business development skills, and working in interactive environments are highly regarded skills that will enhance your application.
