Senior / Lead Analyst- Private Equity Fund Accounting

As part of a globally leading provider of knowledge, market research, and analytics services, youll be working with a team that specializes in global market research and caters to top-tier investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks and work alongside their product and sector teams, assisting them with deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

What you will be doing at Evalueserve-

• Manage end-to-end private equity fund accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review investor reporting packages, including capital account statements and performance metrics.
• Maintain and update Excel-based valuation models to support fund analysis.
• Perform waterfall calculations and ensure precise computation of carried interest and management fees.
• Set up new assets and investments within the accounting system.
• Process capital calls and distributions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations, proactively resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless fund operations.
• Support audit and compliance activities through accurate documentation and reporting.

What we are looking for-

• Bachelors or masters degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CFA certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in private equity fund accounting.

• Possess a deep understanding of private equity accounting processes and investor reporting.
• Strong understanding of private equity structures, investor allocations, and the fund lifecycle.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
• Hands-on experience in building and managing Power BI dashboards for financial reporting and analysis.
• Working knowledge of the eFront application is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with UK or European clients is preferred.
• Exposure to other fund accounting platforms and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with IFRS and/or UK GAAP is an advantage.
