Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer to handle end-to-end litigation for High Court and lower courts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, drafting, court appearances, and client representation. This role requires expertise in civil and criminal litigation, contract disputes, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Litigation Management: Handle cases from inception to resolution, including pleadings, motions, arguments, and trials. Court Representation: Appear before High Court, District Courts, Tribunals, and other judicial/quasi-judicial bodies as required. Legal Drafting & Research: Prepare petitions, writs, appeals, legal notices, contracts, and other legal documents with high accuracy. Client Consultation: Advise clients on legal rights, strategies, and case progress while ensuring effective communication. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to various industries. Negotiation & Dispute Resolution: Engage in mediation, arbitration, and out-of-court settlements where applicable. Team Collaboration: Guide junior associates, paralegals, and legal interns on case preparation and legal research. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with corporate clients, government agencies, and other legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes. Required Qualifications & Skills: LLB/LLM from a recognized university. Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience in High Court and lower courts . Strong expertise in civil, criminal, corporate, commercial, and constitutional law . Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills . Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is a plus. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience handling corporate clients and complex litigation matters. Strong understanding of procedural laws, evidentiary rules, and trial advocacy .
