Job Description

Senior Laravel Developer – Legacy ERP System (Laravel 12)

🔧 About the Project

large-scale ERP platform built on Laravel 12

Product listing and publishing workflows
Ticketing systems and customer query automation
Order, return, and fulfillment lifecycle management
High-throughput REST APIs consumed by Flutter and web clients
Background job processing, queues, and system integrations

mature legacy codebase

✅ Key Responsibilities

Work confidently within a
large, modular Laravel 12 legacy codebase
Understand and navigate existing logic across
controllers, services, models, jobs, and events
Fix bugs, enhance features, and ensure platform stability across modules
Design, extend, and maintain
REST APIs
used by internal and external systems
Build, extend, and monitor
Laravel Jobs, Queues, Events, and background processes
Integrate and support
third-party services
(e.g., Twilio, Vapi, LiveChat, New Relic)
Read, understand, and act on existing documentation
Troubleshoot issues independently and propose solutions
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code without unnecessary refactoring of stable legacy logic

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on Laravel development experience
, with recent work on Laravel 10 or Laravel 12
Proven experience working with
large-scale legacy codebases
Strong understanding of Laravel internals:
Jobs, Queues, Events, Middleware
Service containers and modular architecture
Solid experience in
API development
, token-based authentication, and webhooks
Familiarity with
modular systems and codebase separation
Proficiency with
Git, GitHub PR workflows
, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver with minimal supervision

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience with
Magento APIs
, ERP systems, or multi-store architectures
Exposure to performance monitoring and system observability tools
