Senior Jewellery Merchandiser

Job responsibilities :- Merchandising Strategy & Planning Develop seasonal merchandising plans aligned with brand strategy and financial goals. Analyze sales data to forecast demand and optimize product assortments. Plan product range by category, price point, materials, and target customer profiles. Product Lifecycle Management Oversee the full lifecycle from range planning to end-of-life markdowns. Assist in seasonal range reviews and collection evaluations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with design and buying teams to develop commercial product ranges. Partner with marketing for promotional calendars, product launches, and campaigns. Provide product knowledge and sales strategies to retail teams. Vendor Management Identify, onboard, and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international jewellery vendors. Regularly assess vendor performance based on quality, delivery timelines, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize margins and ensure timely stock availability. Work closely with vendors to ensure adherence to brand quality standards, materials specifications, and ethical sourcing requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely development of samples, production, and dispatches according to the merchandising calendar. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Jewellery Merchandising or a related field. 58 years of experience in merchandising, ideally within jewellery or luxury accessories. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and merchandising tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and commercially driven. Passion for jewellery and market trends.
