Job Description

Role Overview: As a Java Project Manager cum Java Trainer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic IT services team. Your role will involve leveraging your strong technical expertise in Java development, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to train lateral hires in Java technologies. Additionally, you will be instrumental in fostering strong communication and client-facing skills to interact effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams. It is essential for you to be prepared for traveling to Pune 3-4 times per quarter for training sessions and meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee Java-based development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. - Act as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring alignment with project goals. - Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and development teams to define project scope, timelines, and objectives. - Track project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to budget and delivery commitments. - Facilitate Agile/Scrum practices and drive process improvements. - Ensure seamless communication between clients and internal teams to maintain transparency and client satisfaction. - Design and deliver structured training programs on Core Java, Advanced Java (Spring, Hibernate, Microservices, etc.), and related frameworks for lateral hires. - Conduct hands-on coding sessions, best practices, and real-world Java application development training. - Assess trainees through periodic evaluations and provide constructive feedback. - Stay updated with the latest Java trends and technologies to enhance training effectiveness. - Travel to Pune 3-4 times a quarter for onsite training sessions and customer meetings. - Work closely with HR and technical teams to design Java training roadmaps. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualification Required: - 8+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 3+ years in project management. - Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, teams, and stakeholders. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes. - Prior experience in technical training, mentoring, or coaching Java professionals. - Ability to travel as per business needs.
