Senior Java Developer – L3

Job Description:

The Senior Java Developer will play a key role in the design, development, customization, and support of the i-Recon project. The candidate must possess strong expertise in Core and Advanced Java with proven hands-on development experience, preferably in the Banking and Financial Services domain. Reconciliation knowledge will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications for the i-Recon project
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code using Core Java and Advanced Java concepts
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices in software development
• Work closely with banking stakeholders to ensure domain alignment
• Support reconciliation-related application modules and enhancements
• Documentation of technical specifications and user guides

Skills Required:

• Strong programming skills in Java, Core Java, Advanced Java
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts
• Hands-on experience in Spring / Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful web services
• Strong knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL and RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL)
• Proficiency in working with version control systems (Git/SVN)
• Experience in full SDLC and Agile methodology
• Preferred Skills: Domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services, Understanding of Reconciliation processes and systems, Exposure to microservices architecture, Familiarity with Unix/Linux environment and scripting
• Certifications (Good to Have): Java Developer Certification (Oracle Certified Professional Java SE/EE Developer)

Educational Qualification:

BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; MCA
