Senior Java Developer

What will your role look like

• Architect, design, and develop Java Spring Boot microservices for scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• Champion an AI-First development mindset, leveraging AI coding assistants, automated test generation, and AI-guided reviews to boost productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into well-structured microservices.
• Lead integration of AI-augmented tooling across the full software development lifecycleplanning, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs following best practices for performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation with AI-assisted continuous integration and deployment practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using both traditional debugging and AI-driven diagnostic tools.
• Mentor and guide team members on AI-assisted coding methods and microservices design patterns.
• Continuously research and adopt emerging AI-driven development technologies to enhance engineering workflows.

We would like you to bring along

• 6-8 years of experience in Java development with strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable distributed systems.
• Strong background in RESTful API design and event-driven systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native development.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, including familiarity with production troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI-first workflows and guide others in doing so.

Good-to-have skills

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, or similar).
• Exposure to AI-driven test automation and code quality tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience mentoring teams in AI-augmented coding and best practices.
