We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2 application support, troubleshooting backend issues, and managing code deployments. This role demands strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to resolve production incidents and ensure system stability. Key Responsibilities: Provide L2 production/application support for Java-based backend systems integrated with CMS platforms. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve backend and CMS-related issues within defined SLAs. Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement fixes. Perform code deployments, releases, and configuration updates in production and non-production environments. Monitor application performance, perform log analysis, and proactively identify potential issues. Participate in on-call rotation and handle production incidents during off-hours when required. Prepare and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and incident reports. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience in Java / J2EE backend development and support. Hands-on experience with at least one CMS platform WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . Experience in troubleshooting application, API, and database-related issues . Familiarity with web servers, application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic) , and version control systems (Git, SVN) . Experience in performing code releases, builds, and deployments using CI/CD tools. Good understanding of SQL queries and basic scripting (Shell/Python) for debugging and automation. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
