Job Description

Java Backend Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
L2 production/application support
for Java-based backend systems integrated with CMS platforms.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve
backend and CMS-related issues within defined SLAs.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Perform code deployments, releases, and configuration updates
in production and non-production environments.
Monitor application performance, perform log analysis, and proactively identify potential issues.
Participate in on-call rotation and handle production incidents during off-hours when required.
Prepare and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and incident reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience in Java / J2EE backend development and support.
Hands-on experience with at least one CMS platform
WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Experience in
troubleshooting application, API, and database-related issues
.
Familiarity with
web servers, application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic)
, and
version control systems (Git, SVN)
.
Experience in performing
code releases, builds, and deployments
using CI/CD tools.
Good understanding of
SQL queries
and
basic scripting (Shell/Python)
for debugging and automation.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
