About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable Java applications. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in mentoring junior developers, architecting new features, and driving best practices in coding and software design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Participate in system architecture decisions and contribute to technical strategy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, or React) is a plus
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
