Senior Java Developer (AWS required)

Role Description:

FPT Software is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will leverage modern AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code tools to build scalable, reliable, and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java.
• Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, MQ, and Step Functions to build scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient database operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, MQ, and Step Functions.
• Experience in event-driven architecture and/or microservices.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of Endeca and Terraform is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency: CEFR B2
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Working Hours:

• First 2 months of KT: 15:00 to 23:00 (GMT +7): with allowance for working in abnormal working time
• Post 2 months of KT: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (GMT+7)
