Senior Interior draftsman/ Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Draftsman / Designer with 5 to 8 years of experience in the interior design or architectural industry. The core responsibility of this role will be the production and refinement of technical drawings, while also applying a keen design sensibility to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with the overall design intent.

This is not a pure design role — but your design understanding should be strong enough to take independent decisions during the drawing process without compromising the creative vision. You will be expected to handle detailed drawing sets, new creative developments, and problem-solving on technical and aesthetic fronts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive and precise working drawings including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Refine and optimise designs during drafting, making smart decisions that maintain design integrity.
• Collaborate with design leads to interpret and translate concepts into executable drawings.
• Lead and manage the technical development of design packages across multiple project stages.
• Coordinate with vendors, site teams, and consultants for design execution.
• Take initiative in new creative detailing and material exploration when required.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 5–8 years of proven experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
• Expert-level skills in CAD. Familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or other relevant tools is a plus.
• Strong technical understanding of materials, construction methods, services, and joinery.
• Ability to independently manage drawing packages and refine them with minimal supervision.
• Eye for precision, clean drafting, and thoughtful design integration.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
