Senior Instrumentation & Automation Engineering

As a candidate for the role, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes: - Strong knowledge of instrumentation, automation, PLC/DCS/SCADA systems. - Expertise in engineering standards, cost control, and multi-discipline coordination. - Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to train and mentor teams. In this position, your key responsibilities will include: - Project Leadership: Managing and guiding engineering consultants, approving designs, selecting instruments, reviewing drawings (P&ID, piping, layouts), and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Design & Standards: Setting uniform standards, reviewing/approving all engineering documents, ensuring designs meet business needs, and comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment). - Technology & Value Engineering: Introducing new automation/instrumentation technologies, optimizing costs, and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and profitability. - Vendor & Procurement: Evaluating vendors, approving technical bid packages, participating in negotiations, and resolving field issues during construction. - Process & Quality: Developing procedures to improve engineering services, providing technical direction, and ensuring operational excellence. - Team Development: Mentoring and training engineers, building internal capability, and fostering a culture of value engineering. - Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.,
