As a Lead Engineer for Fire & PHE at Jacobs, you will be responsible for designing various systems for Pharma, FMCG, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle manufacturers, EV battery manufacturers, Paint, and industrial projects. Your role will involve coordinating with the Process Team and Vendors to understand the configuration of equipment, translating PIDs into layouts, and ensuring quality deliverables with safety in design. Your responsibilities will include designing fire suppression systems, performing hydraulic calculations, preparing data sheets, coordinating with different stakeholders, managing scope within schedule and budget, reviewing contractor shop drawings, and providing technical management with Contractors and site team. You will also be responsible for the overall design of Process Drainage System, Plumbing, and fire protection systems. This includes designing water supply, sewerage, stormwater systems, sizing water storage, selecting water treatment plants, designing rainwater harvesting systems, storm and Process drainage systems, and more. Additionally, you will lead plant design activities, review contractor shop drawings, and ensure compliance with industry practices and standards. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E / B. Tech degree in Civil / Mechanical engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in design consultancy or contracting. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modeling tools like SmartPlant 3D, Civil 3D, or REVIT is essential. Knowledge of Auto Pipe, Autocad Plant 3D, and Bluebeam will be an added advantage.
