As a Senior Hardware Engineer (10+ Years), you will be responsible for: - Hardware Architecture & Systems Design: You should have experience defining and leading the technical design of entire systems, not just boards. - Networking Product Design (Switches & Wireless APs): Your role will involve deep, hands-on experience in designing complex Ethernet switches or enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points. - High-Speed Design & Signal Integrity (SerDes/DDR/RF): Expertise in the physics and implementation of high-speed digital interfaces or RF systems is essential. - Full Product Lifecycle & DFM/DFC: You must have a proven track record of taking hardware from concept to mass production, including optimizing for manufacturing and cost. - Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: Experience guiding internal teams like firmware/mechanical and managing external silicon vendors like Broadcom/Marvell is required. For a Mid-Tier Engineer (5+ Years) with a DESIGN Focus, your responsibilities will include: - Hardware Circuit Design (Schematic & Layout): You should have hands-on experience creating circuit designs in schematic tools and managing the PCB layout process. - High-Speed & Power Design (SerDes/DDR/PoE): Specific experience with high-speed digital interfaces and power delivery circuits like Power over Ethernet is necessary. - Component Selection & BOM Management: Experience selecting critical components, managing trade-offs, and maintaining the Bill of Materials is required. - EDA Tools Proficiency (Cadence Allegro / OrCAD): Demonstrated skill using industry-standard tools for schematic capture and PCB design is essential. - Design for Manufacturing & Cost (DFM/DFC): Practical experience applying principles to ensure designs are reliable, manufacturable, and cost-effective is crucial. For a Mid-Tier Engineer (5+ Years) with a VALIDATION Focus, your role will involve: - Hardware Validation & Test Plan Development (DVT): Experience creating and executing comprehensive Design Verification Test plans from scratch is necessary. - Debugging & Root Cause Failure Analysis: Proven ability to find the source of complex hardware issues during development, manufacturing, or from customer returns is crucial. - Signal Characterization & System Testing: Experience performing detailed measurements of signal quality, power, and system-level coexistence is required. - Lab Equipment Expertise (Oscilloscopes, Protocol/Spectrum Analyzers): Advanced, hands-on skills with a wide range of test and measurement equipment are essential. - Test Automation & Manufacturing Support: Experience with scripting languages like Python for automation and supporting the transition to factory testing is a key aspect of this role.
