Senior Hardware Engineer

As a Senior Engineer at Accolade Electronics, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic hardware for automotive applications, ensuring EMI-EMC compliance with electrical and environmental test industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing design tools such as Altium, Cadence and simulation tools like LT-SPICE, P-SPICE MATLAB to create and optimize electronic circuits and systems. - Demonstrating strong knowledge of discrete component calculations, communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet), DFMEA, RCA methods, microcontroller peripherals, analog circuits, and digital circuits. - Generating & reviewing RFQs and BOMs for new projects. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to discuss design specifications, project requirements, and technical challenges. - Showcasing excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. It would be beneficial if you have experience in: - Designing and integrating RF components, GSM/GPS modules, and other wireless communication technologies. - Understanding automotive industry functional safety and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100), basic software development for embedded systems (e.g., C, C++, Python). - Familiarity with quality management system processes and documentation according to IATF, CMMI, ISO etc. - Having strong communication and interpersonal skills for successful CFT and stakeholder discussions. - Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Code beamer, and working on Telematics control unit, Motor controller unit, Body control module, driver assist applications. Desired soft skills for this role include: - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team. - Sense of ownership and urgency when working in the company. - Strong sense of ethics. In terms of qualifications, you should have a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunications with at least 4+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer.
