Senior Hardware Development Engineer

As a Senior Hardware Development Engineer at Libratherm, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and testing of microcontroller-based electronic products in line with technical specifications and product line standards. Your role will involve leading hardware design from concept to production, ensuring robust, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the complete hardware design life cycle, including schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and prototype creation for new products. - Design and develop microcontroller-based systems for various industrial and consumer applications. - Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements. - Collaborate closely with firmware, software, and mechanical engineering teams for seamless integration. - Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for hardware validation. - Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, BOMs, and test reports. - Manage project timelines and deliverables for hardware-related tasks. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. - Communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions to stakeholders. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing microcontroller-based electronic products. - Mandatory domain expertise in designing products for the Libratherm product line or a similar industry domain. - Strong technical skills in schematic design, PCB layout, analog and digital circuit design, microcontroller architectures, communication protocols, sensor interfacing, and firmware development. - Proficiency in testing, debugging, documentation, and using industry-standard tools. - Soft skills including exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, effective teamwork, and self-motivation. This role reports to the Head of R&D or Engineering Manager within the Research & Development / Engineering department.,
