Key Responsibilities

• Strong command of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and ideally, experience with Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint.  
• Create and format layouts for print and digital publications using Adobe InDesign.
• Edit and recreate images using Adobe Illustrator and potentially other design tools.
• Work closely with client, content creators, editors, and other designers to integrate text and visuals seamlessly. 
• Prepare and review print-ready files, troubleshoot formatting issues, and ensure files are optimised for production. 
• Manage project timelines and deliver designs within specified deadlines. 
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency. 

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design.
• Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
• Skills in the utilization of specified computerised graphic design software and programs.
• Ability to identify and interpret graphic design needs and develop creative and responsive design concepts.
• Knowledge of iMAC and Adobe InDesign.
