Senior Golang Engineer

About the Role:

Techila is seeking an experienced Senior Golang Engineer to lead the design and development of robust, event-driven microservices for high-volume, real-time financial data and transactions. You will work cross-functionally to build scalable solutions, leverage AI/ML for automation, and drive innovation in financial technology.

Experience: 6 to 9 years

Location: Bangalore (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Innovate:

  Architect and develop scalable microservices in Go to handle real-time financial transactions and data flows.

• Build for Scale:

  Design and evolve enterprise-wide event pipelines that are reusable and extensible for various business domains.

• Collaborate & Impact:

  Partner with engineering, product management, finance, and compliance teams to deliver resilient, compliant solutions.

• Leverage AI/ML:

  Integrate AI/ML to automate finance tasks like reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, and journal creation.

• Real-Time Excellence:

  Deploy and optimize streaming technologies (Kafka) for real-time insights and rapid response.

• Optimize & Refine:

  Continuously enhance financial data models while balancing compliance and performance standards.

• Strategic Integration:

  Facilitate seamless microservice integration across financial applications, driving scalability and reliability.

Mandatory Skills:

• Software Engineering fundamentals
• Go programming language
• Kafka
• Oracle PL/SQL & Snowflake
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Github Actions
  

Key Responsibilities:

• 6+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in a senior/staff role
• Strong expertise in event-driven architecture and distributed systems
• Experience in automating complex financial operations (payments, reconciliations, revenue recognition, royalties)
• Hands-on experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka preferred) and designing real-time data pipelines
• Strong SQL skills and experience in data modeling across Oracle, Snowflake, or similar platforms
• Experience managing AWS environments and automating infrastructure using Terraform
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation of software delivery lifecycle (Jenkins, Github Actions)
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and accountable, with a focus on scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
