Senior General Manager - Structure Design

Position Overview:

Senior General Manager Structure

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead structural works from design coordination to execution across multiple sites.
• Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and methodologies in coordination with design consultants.
• Plan and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables for all structural works.
• Ensure effective coordination with architects, MEP teams, and other stakeholders for smooth project integration.

2. Technical Review & Quality Control

• Conduct detailed review of structural drawings and BOQs to ensure technical accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Implement quality assurance and control systems for concrete works, reinforcement, and other structural elements.
• Approve construction methodologies and material specifications as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, NBC, IS codes, and other relevant standards.

3. Site Management & Monitoring

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to timelines.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and provide guidance to project teams and contractors.
• Review and approve structural inspection reports, testing schedules, and quality audit reports.

4. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Evaluate and finalize contractors, structural consultants, and third-party agencies.
• Oversee contract execution, billing verification, and performance management of vendors.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and statutory compliances at sites.

5. Cost & Resource Management

• Optimize material usage and manpower deployment to control project costs.
• Approve structural quantities, certifications, and budget estimates.
• Support procurement team in identifying cost-effective materials and solutions.

6. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead a team of structural engineers and project managers across sites.
• Mentor, train, and develop team members to ensure capability enhancement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical expertise in

  high-rise RCC, post-tensioned, and steel structures

  .
• Deep understanding of

  construction methodologies, formwork systems, and concrete technology

  .
• Excellent project management, planning, and coordination skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS (preferable).

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification:

   Mtech Structure

• Experience:

  Minimum

  18–25 years

  of experience in structural execution and design coordination in large-scale

  real estate / construction companies

  .
• Proven track record of handling

  high-rise residential / commercial projects (40+ floors preferred)

  .

Industry Preference:

• Real Estate Developers (Residential / Commercial / Mixed-use)
• Reputed Construction or Infrastructure Firms with Building Projects
