Senior Game Developer

As a Senior Game Developer at Fizzle Pop Games, you will be a key player in the development of our casual mobile and PC games using Unity. Your role will involve collaborating with designers and artists to implement features and mechanics, optimizing games for performance and cross-platform deployment, maintaining clean and scalable code architecture, guiding junior developers, and contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and feature testing. Additionally, you will stay updated with industry trends and make suggestions for improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain casual mobile and PC games using Unity - Collaborate with designers and artists to implement features and mechanics - Optimize games for performance and cross-platform deployment - Establish and maintain clean, scalable code architecture - Guide junior developers and help build a strong tech culture within the team - Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and feature testing - Stay updated with industry trends and suggest improvements Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in game development - Strong proficiency in Unity and C# - A solid portfolio of shipped games, preferably casual titles - Experience with mobile (iOS/Android) and/or PC game development - Understanding of game optimization, asset management, and performance tuning - Good communication and teamwork skills - Passion for casual games and player experience - Familiarity with backend systems and multiplayer integration - Experience with analytics, live ops, or monetization systems - Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git) and agile workflows About the Company: Fizzle Pop Games offers you the opportunity to be part of the founding team of a growing indie studio.
