As a talented and experienced Senior Game Developer at Fizzle Pop Games, you will have the exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our upcoming casual titles and contribute to the establishment of our studios tech and development practices. Working as part of a small and creative team, you will collaborate closely with artists, designers, and producers to transform concepts into compelling gameplay experiences. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining casual mobile and PC games using Unity, working with designers and artists to implement features and mechanics, optimizing games for performance and cross-platform deployment, establishing clean and scalable code architecture, guiding junior developers, and fostering a strong tech culture within the team. Additionally, you will participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and feature testing, while staying updated with industry trends and proposing enhancements. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in game development, demonstrate strong proficiency in Unity and C#, showcase a solid portfolio of shipped games (preferably casual titles), have experience in mobile and/or PC game development, and understand game optimization, asset management, and performance tuning. Effective communication, teamwork, a passion for casual games and player experience, familiarity with backend systems and multiplayer integration, exposure to analytics, live ops, or monetization systems, and knowledge of version control (e.g., Git) and agile workflows are also essential requirements.
