Senior Full Stack Engineer, AVP

Role Overview: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will be tasked with driving engineering practices, transformation, and modernization of applications in the Corporate Bank. Your role involves identifying impediments, supporting functional engineering teams, and aligning them with the Target State engineering practices. You will play a crucial part in influencing the engineering community to deliver solutions in compliance with the Architecture Blueprint and the Bank's Target State Architecture. Additionally, you will lead engineering initiatives at the CB tech level and provide support at the local center level. Key Responsibilities: - Promote the target state architecture across the engineering community and stakeholders within and outside the corporate bank. - Conduct deep-dive reviews of technical solutions, provide advice for improvements, and ensure compliance with strategy and architecture standards. - Guide development teams in adopting modern design patterns and technologies for scalable systems. - Design technical solutions for complex business problems. - Develop engineering practices guidelines, modernization plans, and identify legacy technologies for decommissioning. - Identify appropriate tools and provide support for engineering automation work such as test automation and CI/CD. Qualification Required: - Several years of relevant experience in software architecture, design, development, and engineering, preferably in the financial services industry. - Strong background in engineering, solution, and domain architecture with up-to-date knowledge of software engineering topics. - Proven track record in designing solutions and implementing technology roadmaps in on-premises and cloud environments. - Proficiency in application development stack including Java/Spring-Boot, ReactJS, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS, and SQL/NoSQL databases. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage relationships with partners and stakeholders, and facilitate group sessions effectively.
