Experience: 6+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Pune Job Description We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with deep Angular expertise and a passion for user experience to join our UX team. You will help reimagine,our modern, cloud-based fare collection platform that serves transit agencies across the U.S. As the first front-end developer embedded in the UX team, you will work closely with designers and engineers to turn Figma designs into scalable Angular components. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on UI excellence, performance, accessibility, and clean code architecture. Key Responsibilities UI Development & Design Integration Convert Figma prototypes and low-fidelity wireframes into responsive Angular components using PrimeNG, AG Grid, Gridster Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1) compliance Maintain semantic HTML5 and modular SCSS Code Quality & Performance Audit, refactor, and maintain scalable front-end code Proactively troubleshoot UI bugs before QA handoff Collaborate with backend teams to reduce load times and improve performance Write unit tests (Jasmine, Karma, or Jest) Design System & Collaboration Build and enhance components for a shared enterprise design system Integrate custom JavaScript logic when required Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility Write structured Jira stories and documentation in Confluence Key Skills & Experience 6+ years in front-end development with Angular & TypeScript Expertise in vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), SCSS Experience with PrimeNG, AG Grid, Gridster Strong understanding of performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and design system architecture Ability to work closely with UX and backend teams Fluent English communication (spoken & written) Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Experience with Google Analytics, Highcharts, Storybook.js Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native practices Exposure to iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) development Worked in agile environments with AI-powered IDEs (e.g., GitHub Copilot) Personal Traits We Value Detail-oriented with a user-first mindset Ownership mentality with strong UI integrity Reliable, organized, and open to feedback Ability to collaborate during U.S. CST hours (India time overlap) Interested?
