Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer on the AI Solutions team at Workato, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI Agentic Solutions that demonstrate autonomous, proactive, and adaptive behaviors. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement agent-based AI solutions utilizing the Workato Agentic AI platform. - Design intelligent and autonomous agentic AI workflows leveraging multi-agent collaboration and automation capabilities. - Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using Workato's Agentic AI capabilities to enable context-aware, real-time responses. - Implement advanced prompting, memory management, and behavior-planning techniques for complex workflows. - Act as a technical solutions expert, troubleshooting AI-driven architectures and scalable RAG pipelines. - Create robust AI-powered IT workflows with agent-based decision-making and dynamic retrieval mechanisms. - Monitor and enhance AI system performance to ensure efficiency and reliability. - Collaborate with customers to deliver tailored agentic AI and RAG-based solutions, aligning with technical and business needs. - Integrate AI workflows into existing IT frameworks, ensuring smooth deployment. - Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team. - Play a vital role in product development phases from ideation to implementation. - Assist in creating technical specifications and translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences. Qualifications Required: - BTech/BE or higher technical education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning. - 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years on the Workato platform. - Proven experience in AI engineering and agent-based systems. - Knowledge of integration projects and automation technologies. - Hands-on experience with integration platforms like Workato, TIBCO, etc. - Strong coding experience in Java, Python, or Ruby. - Familiarity with APIs, data structures, RDBMS/NoSQL, and cloud technologies. - Soft skills include collaboration, critical thinking, time management, and effective communication. - Ability to adapt to a dynamic startup environment and proactively solve problems.
