Senior Financial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst at our company, you will be a crucial member of the investment team, responsible for analyzing financial data, assessing investment opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your collaboration with portfolio managers, finance leadership, and other stakeholders will be paramount in driving performance and ensuring accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of investment opportunities across various asset classes such as equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. - Build and maintain financial models for valuation, forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning. - Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for management and the investment committee. - Monitor and report on portfolio performance, key metrics, and market trends. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation initiatives. - Perform variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted results and provide actionable insights. - Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure precise and timely financial reporting. - Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions. - Mentor junior analysts and offer guidance on financial modeling and analysis best practices. - Contribute to process improvements, automation, and implementation of analytical tools. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred). - 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or corporate finance, preferably within an investment company, asset management, or private equity environment. - Proficient in valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools. - Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases is a plus. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines. - Excellent communication skills and the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
