Job Description

Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary finance leadership support for key business leaders, including the leadership team for the Boeing Engineering & Technology Centers Globally
  • Partner with finance colleagues across the enterprise and worldwide in the oversight and support of engineering work placed with Boeing Global Engineering centers including India for execution.
  • Lead the design and implementation of efficient finance processes for growing business activity
  • Acquiring resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
  • Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Has impact to own discipline or work unit. Decisions would impact on the ability to achieve results and/or schedules.
  • Directs daily operations of the work unit
  • Frequent contacts with internal personnel and external representatives concerning operations, scheduling or specific phases of projects or contracts. Interacts primarily internally both management and non-management employees, peers and other supervisors.
  • Exerts influence in the development of overall objectives and long-term goals of the organization. Typically developing budgets, schedules and performance standards. Decisions could impact critical delay(s) in schedule and/or organizational operations. Has impact on work processes and outcomes. Directs short term operations/tactical operations of the organization.
  • Directly manages non-management employees in daily operations. Manages employees and first-level managers from more than one finance business. Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives.
  • Directly participates in establishing and administering multiple projects. Develop and administer budgets, schedules and performance standards. Manages large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees (typically at the professional level).
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Manages develop and motivate employees and first-level managers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Masters degree in finance or Certified Accountant from Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
  • 13 + years of experience as a Finance Leader managing a team of Finance professionals across different finance domains FP&A, Accounting etc.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate individual contributors and accomplish results through non-management employees who may or may not exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads a work unit and assignments are often task or activity oriented.
  • Skilled in advising a work unit regarding tasks, projects and operations. Actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedule or resolve complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures that typically affect subordinate organizational units. Establishes and Interprets policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of skills and abilities required by managers or non-management employees to accomplish organizational responsibilities.
  • Ability to accomplish results through managers or non-management employees. Ability to modify the organization structure for their scope of responsibility. Assignments are objective oriented.
  • Ability to influence decision-making by internal and external management and senior level representatives.
  • Skilled in advising and influencing managers or non-management employees to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems. The work group typically includes lower-level managers and non-management employees at the professional level.
  • Experience with MNCs preferred.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience acquired through advanced education ( e.g. Chartered Accountant) and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 16 years' related work experience.
