Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Analyst General Accounting at JLL, you will be part of a high performing, centralised finance team, business partnering with JLL Property Managers and clients to deliver timely and accurate property accounts to local and international clients owning Australian based property assets. Your responsibilities will include liaising with property managers, complying with relevant accounting policies, preparing financial reports, processing journal entries, reconciling balance sheets, and ensuring internal compliance procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the key finance business partner to JLL Property Managers - Lead and participate in monthly finance training sessions - Prepare and process journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and IFRS rent smoothing and incentive amortizations journals - Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts - Reconcile GST reports and raise monthly management fees - Review all purchase orders > 3 months for validity - Ensure JLL's internal compliance process and procedures are adhered to - Drive key efficiencies within the finance team and input system upgrades from a business perspective Qualifications Required: - Strong Finance background, Commerce graduate or Postgraduate - Minimum 4-5 years of Operational/General ledger accounting and Finance experience including Profit & loss analysis, Balance sheet overview - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and logical thinking - Impactful communication skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills - High proficiency in MS Office or any real estate related software About JLL: JLL is a leading professional services and investment management firm specializing in real estate with operations in over 80 countries.
