Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery

  • Deliver programs adhering strictly to organizational guidelines.
  • Customize program delivery by establishing personal connections with children and understanding their specific needs.

Training and Mentoring

  • Mentor and train new facilitators.
  • Facilitate training-of-trainers sessions for other organizations.

Partnership and Exposure Opportunities

  • Act as the Point of Contact (PoC) for local partners.
  • Identify, seek, and manage opportunities for exposure and development for children across programs.

Documentation and Communication

  • Ensure timely documentation of both objective and subjective behavioral changes in children.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Associate to identify and document children’s stories.
  • Provide data, inputs, and images for the communications team.
  • Share timely documentation as per the Management Information System (MIS).

Event Support and Representation

  • Assist the organization in events and crowd-fundraising initiatives.
  • Act as a role model to the team, volunteers, and young adolescents by upholding organizational values and policies.

Preferred Competencies

  • Leadership and team management skills to effectively manage a small team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a child-centered approach.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented thinking with the ability to navigate challenges.
  • Proficiency in facilitation techniques, especially activity-based and experiential learning environments.

Desired Profile

  • Education: Master’s degree or diploma in education, child development, life skills management, experiential education, or activity-based learning.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in activity-based program facilitation, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
  • A deep commitment to child development.
