Senior Expeditor / Project Inspector

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate inspection of equipment and systems as per approved drawings, ITP/QAP.
• Ensure timely expediting of vendor deliverables and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPI), vendors, and clients for inspection activities and documentation.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing schedules and highlight deviations.
• Prepare and review ITP/QAP documents.
• Review inspection reports, MTCs, and certificates for compliance.
• Follow up with internal teams and clients for necessary approvals.
• Review IRNs (Inspection Release Notes).
• Conduct vendor site visits as required.
• Coordinate with vendor, TPI, and client to resolve issues and ensure smooth progress.
• Prepare and maintain overall project reports and order-level status reports.
• Facilitate dispatch clearance and ensure proper closure of orders.
• Follow up with logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery.
  

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering graduate (B.E. / B.Tech)
• 1015 years of experience in

  expediting, inspection, or project management

  in an Oil and gas, metals and mining, heavy engineering industry preferred
• In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering drawings, inspection procedures, vendor management, and project monitoring.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office

  and working knowledge of

  ERP systems

  .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work from

  Kanjurmarg office

  with flexibility for occasional travel to vendor sites.
