Job Overview

Maintenance Engineer / Service & Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  
• Manage HT/LT power distribution systems, transformers, DG sets, motors, switchgear, and VFDs.
  
• Handle PLC/SCADA systems, instrument transmitters, and plant automation equipment.
  
• Troubleshoot plant electrical issues to reduce downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  
• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution activities.
  
• Maintain weighing scales, packaging machines, and fire protection systems.
  
• Monitor energy usage, analyze electricity/diesel consumption, and implement energy-saving measures.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and documentation requirements.
  

Skills & Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  
• 4+ years of experience in O&M of E&I equipment in continuous process industries.
  
• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, automation, PLC/SCADA, motors, DG sets, instrumentation.
  Experience in project execution and vendor coordination.
• Preferred industry background:

  Steel, Cement, Sugar, Pharma, Chemical, Fertilizers, Beverages, Food Processing

  , or similar.
