Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Acting as SPOC on behalf of the company being fully accountable and empowered to drive the project to success, respecting the quality management system and PDP (including roles & responsibilities, processes, methods and tools). Single point of contact for Program & cascade customer requirements to Project Team.
  2. Responsible of all aspects of Project Delivery execution for a specific customer, from RFI/RFQ to Launch and up to final hand-over to series quality team. It covers creating long term customer intimacy at several management levels through achieving customer satisfaction and establishing strong relationship.
  3. Accountable for negotiating the scope of new business with customer. Create customer-focused strategies and value propositions.
  4. Leading national and international projects and being accountable for cost, schedule, technology, quality and stakeholders acceptance throughout the product development process (PDP), including acquisition, development and series phase.
  5. Leading the project to a technical and commercial success based on the project contract, applying BHTC project management methods and best practices along the PDP considering the BHTC quality management system.
  6. Make and enforce sound decisions, to meet the project goals, applying BHTC decision - making guidelines.
  7. Assemble project team, in coordination with the functional department heads and create team spirit as well as assigning work to the project team, coordinating and prioritizing the execution of workpackages and tasks according project goals.
  8. Perform self - assessments to proactively and foresighted minimize uncertainties and risk to pass the gate reviews and obtain approvals from the Steering Committee for alternative solutions, continuously optimize and improve all aspects of the project.
  9. Manage change requests and claims ensuring proper communication, comprehensive impact analysis, fitting implementation planning and prioritized execution.
  10. Build a trustful and reliable environment, promoting required awareness and ensuring correct, timely and transparent communication based on an auditable documentation.
  11. Encourage, consolidate and optimize the project business case in coordination with the departments, obtaining the total release and ensuring compliance with requirements for R&D and investment budgets and product margin.
  12. Prepare and conduct necessary and regular internal and external status meetings for internal stakeholders as well as customers and suppliers, if necessary with the participation of departments.

Experience with different customers (OEM's) national & international

Preferred candidate profile

  • Product development cycle of automotive Climate control panels, Basic design elements of Haptics, HW/SW & Optics, validation, Quality issues.
  • Product development cycle of automotive infotainment Display, Basic design elements of HW & Optics, validation, Quality issues.
  • Experience with hardware and software-based products both in development and production environments.
  • Manage JIRA project configurations, boards, and workflows to support clear visibility and accountability across engineering, design, QA, and marketing.
