Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for freight reconciliation, Proof of Delivery (POD) verification, billing accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and insurance claim processing. Ensures timely financial closure and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Validate freight invoices and reconcile costs.
Collect and verify POD documents.
Process freight bills and resolve discrepancies.
File and track insurance claims for transit damages.
Prepare reports and ensure compliance.

Skills & Competencies

Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Strong communication and vendor management.

KPIs & Performance Metrics

Freight Reconciliation Accuracy Target: 98% accuracy in invoice validation and reconciliation.
POD Submission Timeliness – Target: 95% PODs collected within agreed SLA (e.g., 7 days post-delivery).
Billing Cycle Efficiency – Target: 100% freight bills processed within 5 working days of receipt.
Discrepancy Resolution Turnaround – Target: Resolve 90% of discrepancies within 10 working days.
Insurance Claim Closure Rate – Target: 95% claims filed within 48 hours of incident and closed within 30 days.
Reporting Accuracy & Timeliness – Target: Weekly and monthly reports delivered on schedule with zero errors.
Compliance & Audit Readiness – Target: Zero non-compliance findings during audits.
