Job Description

The role of Senior Engineer Technical Support at Siemens involves providing support to customers globally through Voice, Email, and Chat channels. You will be responsible for addressing customer queries regarding products, solutions, warranty, etc. Additionally, you will remotely troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at customer sites, as well as provide periodic reports to managers. Your role will also include participating in the creation of self-help resources and knowledge base for customers. To excel in this position, you must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing technical support to international customers via Voice, Email, or Chat. A strong technical background in PC, Linux, and Networking fundamentals is essential. Familiarity with the Linux platform and Web applications is required, along with good troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities, are also necessary. You should be self-organizing, capable of working with minimal supervision, and willing to work in a 24x7 environment.
