Senior Engineer - Public Health Engineering

Role Overview: You will be responsible for planning and developing detailed plumbing system designs for commercial, industrial, and residential projects undertaken by INKEL. This includes considering water supply, drainage, and sewage supply & disposal. You will manage the PHE system in projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Additionally, you will coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to resolve plumbing solutions that meet building codes, regulations, and project requirements. Staying updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to recommend and implement innovative plumbing solutions will also be part of your role. Conducting inspections, quality checks, troubleshooting, and resolving plumbing system issues during and after construction are essential responsibilities. You will also maintain accurate records and collaborate with other engineering disciplines, providing technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and develop detailed plumbing system designs for commercial, industrial, and residential projects - Manage PHE system in projects from conception to completion - Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure plumbing solutions meet building codes and regulations - Prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing materials and labor - Review design reports, calculations, technical specifications, and drawings to comply with plumbing codes and regulations - Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies for implementing innovative plumbing solutions - Conduct inspections, quality checks, and troubleshoot plumbing system issues during and after construction - Maintain accurate records and collaborate with other engineering disciplines - Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians Qualifications Required: - B-Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering - Proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer in the construction industry with a strong portfolio of completed projects - Proficiency in CAD software and plumbing design tools (Note: Salary as per industry standard. Full-time job with Provident Fund benefits. Ability to commute/relocate to Cochin, Kerala required. Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction required. Proficiency in Malayalam and English required. Work location is in person at Cochin, Kerala.),
