Position: Senior Engineer PPC

Reporting To: Manager PPC

Location: Jamnagar

Position Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for running the Production and PPC department efficiently to achieve the production target, ensure that quality standards is maintain consistently and reduce the rejection.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes.
• Manage production and capacity planning.
• Day to Day Production Planning and Inventory control, decide what resources are required.
• Handle the clean up and set up of the machines used in the work process, ensure not only that the proper number of pieces are produced but also ensure that the line and the machines are ready for future use as well.
• Tracking and managing daily production progress.
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed Liaise among different departments, e.g. Production, Stores etc.
• Plan and solve any roadblocks to meeting plan.
• The material handling should be proper and it involves the movement, storage, control and protection of products and materials throughout the manufacturing process.
• Focused within the timing cycles and ensure that all functions happen appropriately.
• Need to involved in quality control and ensure that the pieces / product are free of any flaws or defects.
• All workers should wear the required safety gear while on the premises. The equipment must also be kept clean and maintained.
• Prepare and organize production reports and maintain for the cylinder Department.

• Production planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process.
• The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.
• The capacity to grasp process concepts easily.
• The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines.
• Material usage Knowledge: Zinc, Brass, MS, SS, Aluminium.
• SAP Knowledge:

SAP PP Module for Productio, SAP QM Module for QMS and SAP MM Module for Stores.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

1. M. Tech with 3 years of experience.

2. B.Tech with 7 years of experience.

3. Deploma in chemical with 9 years of experience.
