Senior Engineer - Mechanical

As a Mechanical Engineer at WSP, you will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, plumbing, fire-protection systems, and specialized piping systems. Your role will involve analyzing heating, ventilation, and cooling loads of buildings, performing engineering calculations, and coordinating with various departments for project implementation. You will also conduct life-cycle-cost analyses, produce detailed drawings and specifications, conduct field reviews, and prepare engineering reports. To excel in this role, you should have a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is required, along with the ability to work independently with minimal instructions. Your focus will be on HVAC, plumbing, and building engineering, and experience with energy modeling calculations is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs, and a team player attitude are essential for success.
