Senior Engineer - Mechanical Building

As an Assistant Manager Mechanical-Maintenance Building, you will be responsible for the following: - Distribution of manpower to ensure efficient maintenance operations - Implementing strategies to reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) - Conducting breakdown analysis and developing corrective action plans - Ensuring adherence to Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule as per works order - Optimizing the utilization of spares, lubricants, and consumables - Reviewing and maintaining all maintenance records - Ensuring that the setup meets the required specifications - Calibrating all measuring instruments regularly - Implementing 5-S activities in your section for workplace organization - Addressing and fixing unsafe conditions such as steam leakage, oil leakage, air leakage, water leakage, loose cables/joints, damaged cables, and open electrical panels - Proper storage and disposal of solid waste and hazardous waste in accordance with guidelines - Providing guidance on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) awareness to shift workers, including contractor workers - Ensuring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required - Taking actions to prevent unsafe acts and conditions - Adhering to operational control procedures - Promptly reporting emergencies like fire, accidents, and natural calamities to the relevant personnel and taking immediate actions - Ensuring proper implementation of work permits in the designated area Your authority includes: - Monitoring and reviewing all maintenance and engineering activities - Halting any unsafe act, practice, or condition - Reporting performance of the engineering team and plant to higher management (DGM/AGM/Sr. Manager) Qualifications required for this role: - Degree/Diploma in Science/Engineering in the relevant field - 5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance activities of tire/tire-related industries - Strong planning and organizing skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills This job as an Assistant Manager Mechanical-Maintenance Building offers you the opportunity to apply your expertise in maintenance activities and contribute to the efficient operation of the facility.,
